Eligius
Saint Eligius is the patron saint of tradesman, craftsman, electricians, metalworkers and horses. Eligius was an extremely skillful metalsmith and was appointed master of the mint under King Clotaire II of Paris. A close friendship developed between him and the King and his excellent reputation as a metalsmith became well known. His feast day is December 1st.
