Ann (Anne)

Saint Ann is the patron saint of mothers, grandmothers, childless couples, pregnancy and childbirth. Ann, or sometimes Anne, was the wife of Joachim, mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus. Little is known about her since she is not depicted in the Bible but tradition has it that she was childless for a long time until God bestowed her with Mary, whom she dedicated to God at an early age. Her feast day is July 26th. Buy a pendant or add on a chain to make it a necklace. Get St. Ann medals in either sterling silver, gold-filled or 14kt solid gold all made in the USA and with lifetime guarantees.
